Floors and Floor Coverings
|Dirty/greasy carpets/mats/rugs caused by foot traffic or drink contamination.||Clear away any excess debris and then spray with Orange Fresh. Allow at least 15 minutes contact time (maximum 30 minutes) before using carpet extraction machine with (product.)|
|Hard floor surface contaminated with oil and/or grease. (e.g. tiles, tile grouting, non-slip safety flooring.)||Clear away and excess debris and then spray with Orange Fresh. Allow 5-10 minutes contact time and then agitate area with deck scrub brush. Rinse well and remove any residue with an extraction vac/floor drain.|
|Floors with a dull finish, that dirty easily or require protection.||Use Easyshine which acts as a 'floor maintenance system', protecting the surface whilst giving a lasting shine.|
Kitchen and Food Production
|Crockery stained with tea/coffee.||Tannin Remover is extremely effective in getting rid of tanning stains. Use by either directly applying into the dishwasher or by soak application.|
|Carbon and grease build-up on ovens and grills.||Magic Foaming Oven Cleaner will effectively rid any oven or grill of an unwanted build-up of carbon or grease.|
|Carbonised grease and vegetable oil deposit build-up inside fat fryer.|| |
Daily cleaning: as part of your daily cleaning routine use Lift Degreaser to prevent this build-up. Its convenient application and ease of use make it perfect for everyday cleaning.
Heavy cleaning: our oven cleaner, Magic Foaming Oven Cleaner is recommended for heavier deposits on equipment.
Caustic decarbonising in a soak application. Cleaver is recommended to get rid of burnt on carbon - a very effective product.
|Hand contact areas (e.g. door handles, switches, under table rims and chairs that may be subject to ingrained soiling.)||Protect Disinfectant Cleaner is perfect for targeting areas that are likely to be contaminated with bacteria. With use of this product, you are being proactive in helping to reduce the transmission of infection.|
|Preventing harmful bacteria becoming immune to general disinfectants.||We recommend Spectrum Disinfectant, a terminal sanitiser, to ensure that harmful bacteria cannot become immune to your daily cleaning procedures.|
|Growth of harmful bacteria and/or fungus in the interior of ice making machines, freezers, fridges and dish and glass washers.||Esteem is the product for killing bacteria and fungus growth in an effective, easy way.|
|Dirty/stained crockery and cooking utensils.||We often find that this problem is a result of substandard cleaning products. By using more specialised, quality products like Adamatic Dishwasher Detergent these problems can be targeted, leaving crockery and cooking utensils clean and hygienic.|
Contaminated hands (the presence of bacteria is likely after):
|In order to prevent the transmission of pathogens (most commonly transmitted through hands), we recommend that you wash your hands with a bactericidal hand soap (many alternatives offered by Spectrum - look in e shop) followed with the use of our alcohol based hand sanitiser (many alternatives offered by Spectrum - look in e shop) This is the best, most effective way to ensure that you are destroying harmful bacteria and minimising the chance of cross contamination.|
|Mineral, organic build-up in toilet bowls, urinals and flush rims. Also in floors ingrained with uric acid scale (especially in tile grouting or porous concrete)||The build-up of uric acid scale is often the cause of unpleasant odours, so rather than trying to mask smells with air fresheners and so on, we suggest targeting the problem head on and getting rid of this unwanted build-up. These surfaces can be cleaned by using Bluaway which will descale and remove organic hard-water deposits. We recommend a daily use of these products in order to prevent further build-up and nasty odours.|
|Blocked or slow running drains and pipe work in toilet bowls and urinals.||Pipe work is often affected by a build-up of uric acid scale along with paper and organic matter. We suggest Sink & Drain Cleaner in order to dissolve matter such as hair, grease, food waste and any organic deposits that can be found in internal plastic and metal pipe work.|
|Unpleasant odours.||Whether these be caused by poor ventilation or busy use, it is important to get rid of unpleasant odours. We recommend Davania, 500ml power spray, to provide your surroundings with a long-lasting freshness that targets unwanted smells.|
Mildew and body fats on tiles and surfaces in shower and washroom areas.
Scale and dirt on shower attachments, shower trays and shower screens.
|FS Plus is very effective at removing body fats and mildew while leaving surfaces with an attractive, streak free finish. F.WH Deepclean is excellent for removing lime scale.|
|Fingerprints/streaking on glass and mirrors.||In order to achieve a sparkling, spotless finish we recommend our unbeatable microfiber glass cloths. Even better, you need only add water to buff your glasswork to perfection. We also advise Synergy glass cleaner for those tougher marks.|
|Fingerprints/streaking on stainless steel and bright metals.||Again, our microfiber glass cloths are perfect for this job and can be used in the same way as for glass - one product combating multiple solutions.|
|Disinfecting mops, cloths and equipment.||We recommend our Chlorine Tablets as they not only effectively disinfect and leave items with a clean, pleasing smell, they also do not harm standard fabrics.|
|Blood stains (on soft furnishings such as carpets, upholstery etc.)||Minor stains may be removed with warm water, soap and a clean cloth and we advise that you always try with this method first. However for more heavy duty stains, we recommend Magic Spot and Stain Remover, for an effective clean that will make the affected surface as good as new.|
|Red wine stains (on fabrics.)||Repeatedly pour soda water over the stain so that it bubbles slightly. Let the area dry naturally and then rub with a clean, soft cloth. Alternatively, for more persistent stains, we recommend using Magic Spot and Stain Remover, known for its effectiveness at stain removal.|
|Coffee stains (on fabrics.)||We recommend rubbing over the stain with a soft cloth doused in neat washing detergent. We recommend Magic Spot and Stain Remover for this. After, rinse with clean, cold water and allow to dry naturally.|
|Burn marks (e.g. from heated appliances such as hair straighteners.)||Apply drops of hydrogen peroxide over the affected area and leave for up to an hour, but do not exceed this time period and do not allow the stain to dry. Rinse well with clean cold water. If the stain still persists, try the application again. If the stain still persists after the second application, apply the same method as advised for coffee stains.|
|One product that can be used on both surfaces and equipment.||Deepclean effectively sanitises all bar equipment, tables, surfaces and floors, making daily cleaning more simple whilst not compromising on hygiene and safety.|

Pipeline is effective in targeting a large range of bacteria which may contaminate beers and lagers. This detergent will clean and sterilise the equipment, combating the problem in an efficient, safe manner.

Daily clean: as part of your daily clean, we recommend FS Plus to aim to prevent such build-ups. This product is effective in safely cleaning the pool area without affecting the water clarity of PH.
Heavy clean: if a heavier clean is needed, such as the cleaning of water scale and rust deposits, we recommend F.WH Deepclean to combat these tougher issues.
Exercise Equipment and Locker Rooms
|Contamination of grease, body fat and ingrained dirt.||Cleanfast is a fantastic product designed to degrease and sterilise these areas in a quick and simply way.|
