Customer Profile

Established in 2012, 4Serve provide a full range of contract cleaning services throughout the North of England. 

 They are an ambitious company, experiencing rapid growth, working with offices, retail, restaurant and bar, leisure, industrial and education establishments. 

Services range from bio decontamination, infection control, deep cleaning, no-touch deep cleaning and commercial cleaning services. 

Solutions

A full review of cleaning tasks undertaken ensured that we recommended fit for purpose products with proven efficacy. Versatile star performers were introduced to reduce the product range significantly. 70% of the product range introduced was environmentally friendly.

Furthermore, consideration of logistics, dilutions, equipment, compliance and cleaning methods enabled us to introduce the correct training programme to ensure all 4Serve supervisors were efficient in all areas, empowering them to cascade information, systems, processes etc. to their respective teams.

We worked with the Sales Director, to demonstrate how working with Spectrum differentiated their business from their competitors by training him on the features and benefits of products used and the knowledge acquired by his teams to do their jobs well. 

Challenge

When first reviewing 4Serve ‘s products, we established too many were being used to tackle the cleaning tasks in hand, not all of which were fit for purpose.

The number of products made staff training challenging and many chemicals were not environmentally or staff friendly.

4Serve’s incumbent supplier were just box shifters, working independently without demonstrating how their products helped differentiate 4Serve’s service offering to their customers.

Results

4Serve no longer have overflowing stock cupboards with too many product choices, positively impacting cashflow. 

The environmentally friendly products are helping 4Serve retain their ISO 14001 environmental certification and acquire new customers. 

Highly concentrated but easily dilatable chemicals ensure that costs are managed and high hygiene standards are maintained on a consistent basis. 

 The use of our free web based hygiene management portal, MySpectrum, provides users with safety data sheets, product guidance prompts, checklists, cleaning procedures and COSHH eLearning in real-time. 

4Serve have converted many sales opportunities by using their USP’s, many of which relate to product efficacy, compliance, staff training and environmental credentials.
