I have over 20 years' knowledge and experience in the cleaning industry and my vision is to make Spectrum the number one choice for customers who see the benefits of working in partnership with their suppliers and who value great service, innovative hygiene management support, good quality CHSA approved cleaning supplies and washroom service provision.
I have recently returned to my home town of Scarborough after gaining 18 years' management experience working in London as a Facilities Manager. During this time I managed various projects with the most notable being The British Museum, The National Gallery, The 02 and South Bank University in the public arena, although gained corporate experience working with companies such as IBM and McKinsey & Company.

With my wife Jo and father-in-law Jerry as fellow founders, delivering outstanding customer service is my priority. Cultivating enduring relationships with loyal customers is crucial. I strive to innovate and keep customers at the heart of our offerings. Seeing our team, facilities, and nationwide customer base thrive brings immense pride, given our modest origins in Jerry's garage since 1995.
My role at Spectrum is extremely varied with my primary focus being systems and process engineering, backed by my passion for data analysis. We have had several different large projects running lately, including the further development of My Spectrum and the implementation of new systems to ensure efficient working practices. I am looking forward to some exciting new projects that we have planned, so watch this space....
Since joining Spectrum in March 2016, I have thrown myself into learning as much as possible about the company and the daily processes. I have spent time doing various roles within the company, from sales order processing to remote relationship management and I am now happy to be taking on the challenge of Operations Manager.
Due to my long service, I have worked in many roles and acquire a versatile skill set, utilised mainly within the ecommerce team, customer services team and the operations team.
My product knowledge is exceptional, and my experience of the business is vast so this helps me add immense value in my support role which I know is appreciated by my colleagues.

I have recently moved to ‘not so sunny’ Scarborough from ‘smoggy land’ Middlesborough. I am very happy to be a part of Spectrum and the great team we have. I am looking forward to many years in my new role as warehouse coordinator and the opportunities that will come. I have worked in warehousing for the past 8 years, so I am hoping to bring a fresh, new perspective to the Spectrum warehouse to ensure its smooth and efficient functioning.
With nearly three decades of accounting experience in financial and management roles, I joined Spectrum in April 2021. My responsibilities include monthly management accounts and enhancing the reporting structure for budgeting and forecasting. The supportive and hardworking Spectrum team fills me with excitement for the company's ongoing growth. Outside work, I juggle parenthood, walks with our spaniel Bella, and pursue cycling and running.

I am a long-term serving member of the Spectrum family and it's something I very much enjoy. My role starts at the point of picking products and follows all the way through until they are delivered to our customers, with a smile. I take great pride in my customer service skills, which I believe is really important in customer facing roles.

My role involves making sure products are loaded onto the van and delivered to our customers. Excellent customer service is essential in my role.
